Document Controller

Large-scale refurbishments we have delivered - including new-build housing in some cases - have resulted in significant benefits for residents, including improved thermal comfort, better health and living conditions, reduced fuel bills, aesthetic transformations and more secure environments.

We have an opening for a Document Controller to work on 2 of our projects within close proximity of each other. The role is project based initially for a fixed term of 8 months with the potential for this position to be made permanent beyond this project.

Duties will include but not restricted to:

  • Working closely with the Project Manager and Design & Quality teams

  • Assisting the site team with all necessary paperwork for new inductions

  • Meeting and greeting all Lawtech visitors to site

  • Keeping accurate meeting notes for the Project Manager in meetings

  • Collation of QCQA reports, photos and submitting them to Head Office to allow QS to organise valuation

  • Your role will be to respond, distribute and file as required all communication to and from the project team.

  • Document/drawing management to include: maintain electronic and paper filing systems including use of on-line portals.

  • Communicate to all parties as documents are updated; including Lawtech project team, clients and sub-contractors.

To succeed in this role you will have the following skill and experience:

  • Project experience with understanding of document management.

  • Experience of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint.

  • Have the ability to work on own initiative and to timescales.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Methodical and analytical approach to work.

  • Confidence to communicate at all levels.

  • Ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Experience of using on-line portals for managing data

The working hours will be 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday and the locations are Parsons Green and Forest Hill.
