Document Controller - Nuclear Projects

An international engineering, construction and project management contractor are seeking a Document Controller to be involved with their nuclear project portfolio. Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that drawings and development documentation are processed, controlled and distributed in accordance with company policy.

As the Document Controller, you will be responsible for the execution of primary and complex protocols and procedures of the project document control system, as well as tasks given by the Engineers from the day-to-day document control workload.

This is a real opportunity for you to develop upon your existing skills and knowledge of document control.

The Document Controller will be responsible for the following:

- Processing of all incoming and outgoing documents including receipt, classification, registry, distribution, archiving, storage and retrieval
- Setting up the Site Project Files, log and monitor Requests for Information
- Provide administrative support to engineers including preparation of technical documents
- Chasing outstanding documentation internally and externally
- Implementing precise project quality filling structure within DMS 
- Executing document control protocols and procedures in functional work areas using SharePoint

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in full documentation management
- Document control on major projects within Engineering, Construction or Renewable industries
- Proficient in the use of Electronic Document Management Systems
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
