Document Automation Manager - Law Firm - City of London

We are working with a highly regarded international law firm, a market leader well known for its innovation within its legal and technology areas. An opportunity has arisen to join the central knowledge function as Document Automation Manager.

The main purpose for the role will be to champion the firm’s document automation initiative including direct offerings.

Working closely with the practice areas, you will promote automation solutions both within the business and as a client facing solution, supporting the practice areas both to automate their standard documents and to keep their collections accurate and up to date.

You will be engaging with fee earners to manage and prioritise automation work, providing training to lawyers on how to mark-up a document for automation, providing best advice on the best practice for document automation.

Key tasks will include:

  • Deconstructing a document into its component parts and assess the level of automation required
  • Automating the document using the firm’s document automation tool
  • Testing the document automation, recording and resolving errors

Because of the specialist nature of this role, you will be an accomplished document automation specialist with significant experience within a professional services organisation. You will have demonstrable experience of working with legal documents, and experience building relationships with internal and external clients.
