About the opportunity:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join our team as a Divisional Manager within our Pharmacy division. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will have responsibility and accountability for all day-to-day activities of the division. You will be responsible for delivering growth by developing and managing strategic customer relationships and by creating a multi-speciality talent pool. You will oversee the complete recruitment process for the division, as well as identifying and implementing improvements within the team, whilst ensuring all company framework standards and procedures are maintained.

As a Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for:

Management of the division:

· Day to day responsibility of the division, delegating responsibilities and taking into account the abilities and development needs of the individuals within your team.

· Chairing meetings with the division regarding performance and objectives

· Monitoring personal and team performance on a day-to-day basis and provide leadership, motivation and guidance

· Managing attendance and conduct issues

· Developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a representative for the business to relevant outside bodies and institutions 

· Recruitment and selection for the division

· Coaching, training, developing and appraising performance of direct reports and identifying training needs and development proposals

· Identifying performance problems and implementing corrective action where necessary

· Setting achievable targets and KPI’s for the team and holding regular 121’s and team meetings

Delivery of budget and divisional growth:

· Responsibility over the profitability and growth of the division, ensuring all opportunities are maximised

· Strategic business planning in-line with company objectives

· Keeping up to date with market changes and business opportunities

Management and growth of active candidate database:

· Responsible for candidate recruitment and ensuring numbers of active candidates are maintained and increased to agreed levels

· Accountable for ensuring all candidates are compliant to framework and company standards

· Ensuring the candidate pool is of sufficient quantity and quality to meet the ever-changing demand of our customers

· Liaising with internal functions to create and deliver candidate attraction strategies across the division

Management and ownership of customer relationships:

· Developing and managing strategic partnerships with the aim of growing the business

· Interfacing with key decision makers within the NHS and private organisations

· Working with customers to define business requirements and effective solutions

· Managing individual accounts and driving growth

Skill set and experience required:

· Experience in pharmacy recruitment or other healthcare industries is essential

· A minimum of 2 year’s management experience

· Knowledge of framework requirements and processes

· Evidence of driving performance and meeting targets

· Excellent communication skills and the capability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
