Recruitment Lead to support with the establishment of new office in Poole in the temporary supply of care division workers. The two key functions being leading the example of selling the company services to prospective clients both over the telephone and face to face and secondly, delivering our high quality service and maintaining relationships.

The Position:

BCS is looking to appoint an outstanding experienced Recruiter to lead a newly established location in the group. The key function of this role is ensuring a ready supply of temporary workers are available and suitable to the temporary assignments the branch has to offer. Our Manager will be responsible for establishing a client base, approaching and attracting new clients, attracting suitable candidates and matching them to temporary and permanent positions at our clients’ request. As a Manager you will attract candidates by advertising via a range of media as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You will be responsible for screening candidates, arranging interviewing, coordinating training and inductions and taking candidates though the recruitment process up to their start date. You will also provide advice to candidates regarding the company, pay rates, holidays, training & career opportunities. The lead will be responsible for supporting the development of recruitment skills within the branch teams, with support of the in-house Training Team, Talent Acquisitions Team and Operations Manager. It is envisaged that the post holder will have knowledge and experience of using internet job boards such as Reed and other social media sites such as facebook/Linked in.

The successful candidate will have experience of business development: this will include advertising, able to build rapports with local companies and third party agencies successfully. These include: local hospitals, Job centres, training establishments and attendance of dedicated careers and industry specific events. You will need to be able to plan for these events and develop recruitment strategies to attract candidates. As the branch supply levels develop you will be an integral part of establishing next steps and further support and resource required to continue development.

The Package:

The Divisional Manager position attracts a starting salary of £23,000 - £26,000 with a competitive commission structure. Initially you will be entitled to 28 days paid holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays which increases to 30 after the first year and 35 in year 2.

Hours of Work:

Your working week will consist of 40 hours per week with 1 hour’s lunch break each day.

We have care division branches across the areas of Worthing, Melksham, Oxfordshire, Poole and Newport and while the role is based at our Poole branch, travel to other sites and our training centre and head office in Birmingham will be required as part of the role.
