Currently we have an exciting new position - Divisional Leader - to join our fast-paced and dynamic Roadside Function (reporting to Director - Roadside Operations).
Working closely with the Senior Operations teams you will take accountability for building future plans and providing deep insight and understanding of requirements within Roadside and Operations to ensuring delivery of the plan.
-Inspirational leadership across the Roadside team; inspiring Patrols to deliver for customers, colleagues and the wider business
-Lead, motivate and develop a team of Patrol Team Managers, Recovery Team Managers and Patrols, to achieve their productivity, technical and commercial outcomes
-Provide strategic leadership with insights, challenge and focus on the future
-Lead Divisional teams to deliver the required financial and customer outcomes through delivery of outstanding customer service and operational excellence in a compliant environment
-Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans in line with RAC vision into The Next Chapter
-Provide Operational leadership which drives service improvement and performance of Patrol Team managers and Patrols which includes developing communication and engagement strategies which motivate our PTM`s and Patrols to deliver `best in class` service to our customers
-Work closely with Divisional counterpart to ensure consistency and alignment between the two divisions so as to create a single national strategy which delivers consistency of performance and service outcomes
-Work closely with other departments to create divisional plans including, NRC, Technical, Commercial, HR and Unite the Union to ensure delivery of strategic plans across operations and the wider RAC business
-Ensure that Operational Costs remain in-line with plan and Service standards and efficiencies are maintained at Divisional levels, ethos of continuous improvement across Roadside
Skills, Knowledge and qualifications:
-Extensive senior management line experience in commercial / service based operations (operational or retail would be ideal)
-Deep understanding of operational principles and service delivery technologies
-High level of commercial awareness
-Capability of negotiation and ongoing relationship management with Trade Unions
-Extensive proven experience working as a senior manager leading a large mobile workforce essential
-Ability to manage large scale change projects
-Successful track record of managing service delivery
-An inspirational leader with a high drive for results
Geographical Coverage - Field Based with responsibility for the northern region
