Role: Divisional HR Advisor

Salary: Up to £30,000 (dependent upon experience)

Location: Field based role covering Sheffield, Stoke on Trent through to Birmingham and surrounding areas

What you'll do:

Reporting into the HR Business Partner to deliver the people strategy across the business and deliver a consistent service by providing exceptional people management change processes, coaching and advice. To support Branch Manager and Regional Managers to manage all aspects of the change processes and activities being delivered in stores.

Key Responsibilities include:

To assist the HR Business Partner in implementing and supporting processes from start to finish.

To work with Managers to coach and develop then and to ensure that they can manage effectively

To consider processes to ensure they are in line with the wider business agenda and influence such changes to ensure minimum impact on the business

Record MI and prepare reports for HR Business Partner and Regional Managers to use to effectively support good HR practice and achieve key objectives

Work collaboratively across the business by supporting the HR team to actively manage workloads

To build and maintain effective working relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders by providing credible and quality HR advice

To undertake any allocated or ad-hoc HR projects given to you by your Line Manager

To maintain up to date employment law knowledge in line with UK Legislation

Key knowledge and skills required for the role:

CIPD qualification is preferred but not essential

Commercial experience and an understanding of how HR can impact business performance

Previous experience with change management including changes to contract, redundancy and high volume consultations.

Able to successfully demonstrate evidence of business knowledge and commercial awareness, in a multi-site field based HR role

Able to successfully demonstrate evidence of working with complex employment relations cases

Excellent coaching skills

Exceptional communicator with the ability to relay complex data, simply and concisely in both written and verbal formats.

High degree of influencing and persuasive skills with the ability to both influence and implement.

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Commercial and a drive to resolve business issues with pace
