Divisional Finance Manager – Clinical Support
Salary £53,168 - £62,001
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated acute and community services provider organisation with a turnover for 2019/20 approaching £290M. The Trust recognises the importance that strong financial management has to play in helping to influence the future direction and sustainability of clinical services going forward. Hence, it has dedicated senior financial support to each of its four main clinical divisions to help improve the level of financial engagement as part of a multi-disciplinary team approach. Now, following the internal promotion of the current post holder, an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, technically competent individual to take on the role of Divisional Finance Manager for Clinical Support Services.
The post holder will be operationally accountable, as part of the Divisional senior management team, through the Chief Operating Officer and be professionally accountable to the Director of Finance and his Deputy. Operationally, he or she will work closely with the Divisional senior management team to develop strategy, ensure delivery of all external contractual requirements and performance manage the clinical division overall financially, with a view to ensuring that it delivers its key operational objectives within its agreed budgetary control total.
As a CCAB qualified individual, this post provides an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and enhance their existing understanding of NHS finance within a foundation trust and be able to contribute to and influence the development of strategy and transformational plans for the future direction of services within these important and significant parts of the Trust’s core business.
