We now have a new requirement for a Data Analyst to join our Divisional Finance team. 

The Data Analyst will work collaboratively with other teams and departments to understand business and departmental requirements and deliver accurate regular and ad hoc reporting to assist in the decision making process.

Key Responsibilities

• Production and distribution of regular reporting.
• Development of MI and identifying areas of insight.
• Identify key data risks, proposing mitigation and controls within the department.
• Provide support and direction for colleagues in the rollout of new MI suites and dashboards.
• Support the delivery of intermediary monitoring KPI's ensuring accurate reports are provided to the field teams.
• Support the delivery of sales territory changes and associated reporting changes.
• Support resource management within the department through production of telephony and activity data to ensure that SLAs and KPIs are achieved across all teams. 
• Business partnering for Business Intelligence and IT including change requests/briefs.
• To support the Division BI Analyst and key stakeholders with ad hoc work as required.
• Work on projects requiring reporting solutions.
• Support the delivery of the Commercial Finance board packs to agreed timelines.
• Further automate existing manual reporting across all business areas

Experience

Essential

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and analyse significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Power BI, or Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• MDX
• Proficient at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Highly organised, with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to multi-task effectively as part of a team.

Candidates who are able to demonstrate the below will be given additional consideration:

• Knowledge of CRM SQL and OLAP data structures 
• Prior experience of working closely with business areas
