In this role you will support and provide advice to the Organisation to enable it to meet its obligations with regard to Inclusion and Diversity in employment and service delivery. Part of your remit will be to promote and facilitate achievement of equality of opportunity and inclusion in the organisation's activities and to assist in achieving a workforce composition that is representative of the community.
To deliver the Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, with support from colleagues as necessary.
To research and advise the organisation on its compliance with legal requirements into legal issues surrounding equality, diversity and inclusion
To produce and monitor equality and diversity related statistics as requested.
To review, draft, prepare and formulate policy/procedural documentation for presentation and consideration by senior managers.
To support and work with the Strategic OD Manager & Workforce Development Manager in delivering cultural change through values and behaviours
To develop training packages for managers to deliver to staff across the Organisation
Experience / knowledge required:
Working within an organisation that has experienced/is experiencing a strong change agenda and evidence of assisting in the influence of change
Experience of designing and delivering L&D training packages for wide ranging and multi disciplinary audiences
Experience of engaging managers and stakeholders
Experience working within an HR, OD or L&D function in an specialist advisory role
