Job Purpose

Responsibility for driving operational performance in a high profile Site, delivering excellence and demonstrating continuous improvement in service delivery. The FM will act as a single point of contact for all FM issues across Cleaning, Catering & Security services at the Site.

Major Accountabilities

  1. To demonstrate the TC Facilities Management values and lead by example at all times.
  2. Responsible for the delivery in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter and service level agreement to monitor key elements of the FM service
  3. Responsible for management of onsite FM projects specific as agreed with the Project Team
  4. Responsible for providing a key interface between on-site client (customer) and the contracted service providers on a day to day basis
  5. Responsible for monitoring and reporting of service level agreements and key performance indicators internal and external.
  6. Responsible for monitoring of supply partners service delivery and customer interface on a day to day basis
  7. Responsible for financial tracking and reporting to ensure all services are delivered within agreed budgets and service levels
  8. Responsible for providing a continuous improvement review and development of initiatives to improve or rationalise hard services to achieve optimum performance and full customer engagement
  9. Responsible for ownership and management of the departmental audits, statutory compliance plans to achieve and maintain legal status
  10. To develop and maintain the relationship with the customer to ensure their expectations are met whilst working within defined specifications.
  11. To manage the performance of staff in consultation with an appropriate HR representative, taking necessary actions to develop staff or improve performance
  12. To ensure the payment of staff correctly and on time every time by following all company time and pay processing requirements.
  13. To manage all HR and Employee relations issues in accordance with the company HR Policies and in consultation with an appropriate HR representative, recognising and valuing diversity in all cases
  14. To train and induct all staff in their role, the standards expected, the TC values and company policies, procedures and guidelines
  15. To ensure all staff are trained in, and adhere to relevant Health, Safety, COSHH policies and procedures
  16. To adhere to all company processes, policies and procedures
  17. Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

  • FM experience across Soft Services
  • Distribution background
  • Led Distribution teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH legislation
