We have a fantastic opportunity for a Distribution Planning Manager to work within our Distribution, Planning and Performance Department. You will lead and develop a team of resource planning professionals across multi-channel, multi-site and multi-discipline activities to deliver benchmark service standards and support; provide thought leadership and strategic level planning input to Swinton's medium and long term plans.
It will be your role to engage our senior managers on planning and resourcing strategies and developments. You will make recruitment recommendations and identify opportunities offered through skills based routing utilising simulation software, capacity and sensitivity analysis to support you. You will also be comfortable creating report and analysing data to update our leaders on workforce and shift performance.
The successful candidate will have a passion for planning and resourcing, be open to challenging approaches and ensure we are in line with ongoing market developments. As an experienced leader of large-scale planning and resourcing operations, you will need to be able to design longer term operating models considering strategic site preferences, location constraints & ability to recruit efficiently. Experience of both BPO Outsourced Supplier & Vendor Management and familiarity with WFM and telephony platforms are all desirable. Most importantly we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is happy to be hands on supporting the team.
