Disease Case Handler

Experienced Disease Case Handler required to join a well-know law firm in Birmingham.

Your new company
Hays are currently working partnership with a well-known Top 45 law firm in Birmingham, seeking an experienced Disease Case Handler to join their busy department. This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a skilled professional who would like to work on a varied caseload.

Your new role
Working within a busy Disease department you will:

  • Manage your own caseload of pre-litigated disease cases of various complexity and value
  • Provide technical assistance and supervision to the team
  • Draft and perform legal research, investigations, attendance at conferences and Court


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be a UK qualified Lawyer/Solicitor with 0-3 years PQE, or will be an experienced Senior Paralegal. You will have a proven track record of handling disease claims, preferably as a defendant. You will also have good technical knowledge of CPR procedures.
