Director of Knowledge Information Systems and Technology

An international charity based in London is looking for a Director of Knowledge Information Systems and Technology. The successful candidate is going to provide global leadership, innovation and direction in the development and implementation of organizational ICT strategy in support of organizational business objectives in the fast-paced and changing business environment. Please note this role is 6-12months but potential to go perm.
Key responsibilities
IT readiness survey of Central Office Staff completed and analysed
Complete preparation of KIST Budget for 2018
Input into the development of IPPF's Data Management Strategy
Develop IPPF's KIST strategy and subsequent implementation plan, including revision of team structure
Identify suite of KIST Policy documents required, and prioritise their production based on gaps, internal and external requirements.
Implement recommendations from internal audit of IT project management at Central Office
Implement business intelligence solution

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Educated to degree level in information technology, business management or related field; Master's Degree preferred
IT project management and ITIL certification an advantage

Significant experience in a senior-level information technology leadership and management position
Significant experience of strategic IT programme development, implementation, management of large ICT contracts and change management
Ability to lead and motivate teams
Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations, development and implementation
Experience of working in an international development organisation across multiple regions/countries
Experience of health informatics strongly preferred
