As a Director of Fulfilment, you will be based in a commutable distance to our Chesterfield site with other travel as and when required.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Developing the strategy for branch delivery across the infrastructure network and the subsequent multi-million pound budget that accompanies it. 
  • Ensuring Horizon 29 is optimised effectively and implementing KPIs/ Targets to measure performance.
  • Accountable for delivering against the cost to serve, cost per drop and customer OTIF budgets.
  • Driving the strategy for meeting customer requirements whilst understanding the collection and delivery models, the role of branches, the influence of the website over time and how to manage best profitable customers, products, branches and suppliers.
  • Engage direct reports and the wider team to drive team engagement and motivation. Management of the central stock ordering team, working with the commercial function to ensure route to market optimisation.
  • Engaging with wider business stakeholders to drive the success of Horizon 29 and the wider Infrastructure fulfilment/supply chain offering.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Significant depth of knowledge in supply chain management and wider route to market optimisation. Ability to enhance customer propositions through this.
  • Understanding of a multisite B2B model and proven track record of delivering strategic change.
  • Experience of managing of large-scale projects, influencing teams and engaging individuals
  • Highly ambitious, driven, and passionate about results and success, proactive about new business opportunities
  • Knowledge of retail or merchant operating model principles, good finance management is preferable
