We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Director of Clinical Services to be part of our senior leadership team. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with relevant experience in neuro-rehabilitation to support, lead, uphold and develop the Holistic Neuro-behavioural Model of ABI rehabilitation across the UK. We are: - agile - we are forward thinking, responsive, resilient and flexible to ensure we continue to evolve and spot potential - resourceful - we spend time and money wisely empowering people to think differently whilst being practical and commercial - courageous - we do the right thing, step up, try new things and are bold and aspirational through positive risk taking - connected - we collaborate; create positive relationships, listen and learn from others and keep our promises - heart - we show dedication, passion, humility & care to make a lasting and measurable difference As the Director of Clinical Services you will be responsible for developing and delivering services in line with the Trust’s core aims and objectives which will require the successful candidate to: - To lead all disciplines in development and implementation of Neuro Rehabilitation Pathways. - Ensure the standards of psychological care and support, interventions and research are of the highest possible quality. - To establish, lead and support the development of outstanding clinical outcomes and data measurement, best practice and innovation for psychological interventions across the Trust. - Lead, develop and promote the external national profile of The Disabilities Trust’s Neurological Rehabilitation services. - To lead, support and develop The Disabilities Trust’s clinical research activity and framework, ensuring adherence to ethics, legislation and good practice. - Provide professional leadership and expert advice to The Disabilities Trust, advising the Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team and wider Trust about issues relating to neuro-psychology that affect the Trust’s business, research and strategic direction and representing the Trust externally as required. The essential skills and experience required are: - Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996), accredited by the British Psychological Society, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society. - On the Specialist register for Neuropsychology. - Specific training in ABI rehabilitation. - Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. - Trained in clinical governance methods and implementation. - Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the British Psychological Society and as required by the Health and Care Professions Council. - A full drivers license as travelling will be require As Director of Clinical Services you will receive the following benefits: - Company pension scheme – automatically enrolled and DT will contribute 10% of annualsalary, individual required to make minimum personal contribution 5% of gross salary. - Private medical insurance – DT pay the contributions for the individual’s inclusion in the scheme. - Life Assurance – available after 6 months’ continuous service and provides equivalent of four times annual salary in the event of death in service. - 38 days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays). - Enrolment in a staff benefits scheme – Perkbox. - Car allowance of £4k per annum
