Direct Marketing Campaign Manager

My client, a successful financial services company based in Cheshire is recruiting a Direct Marketing Campaign Manager to join their fast paced marketing team. Applicants must have extensive direct campaign and email management experience within a commercial capacity. 

Key Responsibilities: 
Pre and Post campaign analysis to inform business decisions to increase overall ROI
Interpret results and make recommendations for Direct Marketing activity based on findings
Proactively and independently undertake regular reporting within agreed criteria set by line manager
Day to day management of Email and SMS campaigns
Management and implementation of monthly DM offline campaigns
Management of budget lines against activity
Management of supplier relationships
Regular reporting on activity to demonstrate attribution, results and returns, and using results for continuous improvement in efficiency of activity
Communication of findings/results to key stakeholders to help inform marketing decisions
Manage the creative process within your area, ensuring the brief is met and delivers against objectives set
Brief and manage external suppliers to ensure brief/objectives are met on time and within agreed budget
Understand the profile of customers, and value of these customers
Use these findings to feed into DM campaigns and adjustments to current campaigns 
Understanding of outbound using your knowledge and expertise to help influence, guide these areas to ensure all possible opportunities to drive demand are being met
Cost management of campaigns within agreed budget

Skills Required:
Educated to Degree level/CIM 
Experience within direct marketing campaigns including SMS/email activity
Must have a strong email marketing background to step up into this role 
Experience of formulation of HTML emails to ensure business results
Extensive experience of management of emails and SMS including formulation and physical sending of digital communications
Extensive experience in Pre and Post campaign analysis to inform business decisions to increase overall ROI
Proven track record of delivering results against targets
Experience in briefing and managing external suppliers
Cost management of campaigns /budget management
Must possess strong Excel skills
Experience in setting up campaign management tools and tracking – particular
Some experience in analytics would be advantageous
Experience in testing campaigns by device to understand rendering
Company Benefits:
Salary £28k-£30k plus Bonus
37.5 hour working week (can be flexible, ie, 8-4.30pm)
