Direct Marketing Assistant
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
£18,000 - £24000 depending on experience
Are you a bright and organised individual with experience working within a support role either in a Marketing or office environment and looking for an opportunity to support a team of Direct Marketing Executives? then this is the role for you within this vibrant and growing global business
Reporting to the senior marketing executives within the direct marketing team you will assist with the deployment of the global marketing plan from e-communications and printed marketing materials to campaign analysis, reporting and sourcing new and exciting things. You will be working with stakeholders, suppliers and a very talented team from which you can grow and develop your skills.

Project Planning & Production Management
The ability to work across multiple projects within email and print in order to assist with the delivery of the global marketing plan.
Completing campaign process documents in order to communicate regular status updates to team members and senior management.
Resource and assist team members with the management of suppliers and internal freelancers when creating assisting or co-ordinating projects.
Assist the direct marketing team in ensuring collateral is always distributed, maintained and stored neatly.
The ability to understand priorities and how these might change on a day to day basis ensuring the delivery of adhoc projects.
Working closely with the creative team to produce printed marketing materials in the time allocated.
Working with creative software to produce artwork for regular bimonthly projects.
Have a keen eye for detail, proof reading and checking all direct marketing ensuring materials meet the brand guidelines and mistakes are mitigated.
Reporting & Analysis
Initiating and collating competitor marketing reviews displaying findings on a regular basis to the direct marketing team.
To assist with the completion of team reports ensuring data is updated accurately.
To become a key user of the companies database and be able to extract reports, supply or upload data to fulfil campaigns and segment data for targeted projects.
Work alongside the data team regarding data quality issues resulting in bounced mail logging incorrect records to ensure campaign wastage is minimised.
Good written and oral communication skills
Real passion for social media
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and with the wider business
Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills
Experienced with Excel, Word & PowerPoint from Microsoft
You are an expert at time management, highly organised and have a fine eye for details.
You are quick to build relationships at all levels are great at communicating and co-ordinating between internal departments and external suppliers.
You are a numbers guru
You thrive in a fast paced environment and working to strict deadlines
You enjoy working in a team with a wide and varying project base.
