I am recruiting a Digital Enterprise Architect who shall be responsible for the digital experience of an international enterprise. This will include multiple channels and technologies presented across several business functions and geographies.
They shall have accountability for the technology strategy, selection, and design used in the client experience throughout the firm, utilizing industry best practices matched with leading-edge insight and thought leadership.
Providing expert advice on architecture, transformation, development and operational teams to maximize platform stability, resilience, flexibility, and performance.
Develops, defines and documents the digital strategy and associated transformation approach;
Delivers business outcomes through the development of business-focused solutions and processes;
A key member of the Architecture Board; providing guidance, support, and governance to ensure good technology decisions are made early and throughout technology life-cycles, reducing complexity and waste;
Provides technical expertise and oversight to enable the correct application of operational procedures;
Contributes to the planning and design of transformation, development, maintenance and operational work;
Identifies operational problems and improvements and contributes to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures;
Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems and services assisting with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures;
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of specific technical specialisms, and provides expert advice regarding their application;
Develops, documents and implements strategies, policies, and designs;
Contributes to the availability management process. Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability, and serviceability. Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels. Implements arrangements for disaster recovery and documents recovery procedures. Conducts testing of recovery procedures;
Specifies user/system interfaces, and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of the target environment, performance requirements and existing systems. Produces detailed designs and documents all work using required standards, methods;
Works effectively with key stakeholders across all business areas ensuring technological and architectural alignment, calling out gaps and risks proposing any mitigations.
Understand and articulate the client journeys end to end throughout the enterprise stack including integration technologies, middleware, service-oriented architecture and APIs;
Experience of delivering platform services and creating a platform strategy/approach to the delivery of services would be advantageous;
Customer interaction & CRM technologies supporting the shift to a digital organization.
Cloud in all forms (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) with the ability to clearly articulate the end to end Cloud story and value proposition to the end customer, as well as experience in migrating to the Cloud;
Able to articulate virtualization, microservice, and mobile concepts;
Information security knowledge and awareness of industry best practice;
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences;
Experience in deploying modern technology development and delivery models, including Agile, continuous integration, continuous delivery, DevOps and bimodal;
Expert understanding of design principles, production, and management of key artifacts and development of business level communications (budget management, business case generation, vendor management,etc.);
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
