My client are an award winning healthcare digital agency based in central London and are looking for an experienced Digital & Social Media Director. They are a dynamic and happy team with flexible hours available for the right candidate.

As the Digital & Social Media Director you will be responsible for leading the digital delivery team and for driving the agency’s knowledge, skills, and abilities in digitally driven healthcare marketing.

As the successful candidate you will need experience of managing cross-functional teams along with

Experienced leading client relationships

Experienced managing all financial aspects of a digital project

Experienced at proposal writing and pitching

Practised at conducting business/user motivation research, user surveys and profiling

Expert at developing project requirements documents, user profiles and community maps

Expert at creating functional specs (IA, wireframes, use cases, user journeys, site I/O, site map)

Practised at managing creation of technical specs (security, SEO, accessibility, tracking and reporting)

In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines (including audience identification and analysis, targeting, experience design, digital production, digital project management and online analytics)

5 + year experience in digital healthcare communications - delivering to patient, HCP and internal client audiences

Solid understanding of the ABPI

Constant innovator practised at working with the latest and most relevant approaches/technologies and fitting those to client need

SKILLS REQUIRED

Strategic thinking, with experience of developing and implementing digital strategies

The ability to solve problems, strong time management, organisational skills, meet tight deadlines, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - demonstrable ability to communicate complex technical information to other teams across the agency, in an easy to understand way

Experience of working effectively and collaboratively within a senior team, with the ability to liaise and build strong relationships across internal departments.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage digital production team - manage the relationship within the production team

Point of contact between the digital production team and the account management team

Consistently demonstrate a high level of advanced digital and client management knowledge

Understand and convey current technical principles for digital marketing and education

Keep up to date with marketplace and technical developments and integrate recent search developments into client campaigns

Codify and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching digital projects within the agency

Serving as a resource for creative teams

Lead UX vision for the agency, work closely with Digital Designer, Account Management and Tech to develop best in class digital experiences

CLIENT

Play an active role in new client acquisition and new business presentations

Leading scope definition and recommending approach for all digital projects

Play a leading role on client engagements, serving as digital strategy advisor to both account leads and clients

Driving high level discussions on the role of digital within a client’s total marketing ecosystem

Helping guide clients in defining their digital vision, revealing the value of digital & defining needs & solutions

Setting and achieving client digital KPIs

Helping the client define the metrics for ROI of digital projects

Identify key up selling and cross selling opportunities

Ensure synergy across the clients digital service channels

Analyse and communicate with client on tracking and analytics data to ensure best mix of digital strategies

Update all clients on major technological developments that impact their campaign

Ability to contribute to content for industry events / awards

Acknowledging knowledge gaps, actively seek feedback and development support

Ability to liaise with other departments internally to the benefit of existing clients

Develop a strong digital reputation within the industry
