Job Title: Digital Products Administrator, Cambridge English Digital & New Product Development

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £19,000 to £23,800

Location: the Triangle Building, Cambridge

About the department and the role

Are you highly organised, with excellent spoken and written communication skills?

Are you highly competent with MS Office software and finance packages?

Can you support our fast-moving department by efficiently and accurately handling essential finance and admin tasks?

The Digital and New Product Development team is responsible for Cambridge English’s digital learning, assessment and teaching products. We aim to use the latest emerging digital tech and pedagogies to help the world speak English and prove their skills. We collaborate with a diverse range of experts, companies and academic departments with a dream of creating world leading digital learning and assessment experiences on mobile and the web, touching millions of lives.

We are looking for someone to play an important role in providing day-to-day support for the department.

What you’ll be doing

The main responsibilities will include a range of tasks such as:

  • Raising Purchase Orders and sending commissioning letters to suppliers
  • Processing invoices, ensuring they are sent to our Finance department efficiently
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and dealing with or forwarding enquiries from customers
  • Providing a range of support to the department, such as by organising meetings, booking travel, setting up department events and general admin tasks
  • Maintaining clear work instructions for the department’s administrative processes

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent IT skills with command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook;
  • Can independently organise and prioritise their work in order to meet deadlines
  • Has excellent organisational skills to efficiently balance and prioritise a range of tasks and functions;
  • Has excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Has experience assisting with projects, including financial reporting
