Digital marketing, PR and promotions at a well-established high-end food business

We're looking for a creative, pro-active, lateral-thinking digital marketer with bags of initiative (and a driving licence) for a very successful luxury food company. You'd be both strategic and hands-on; running all Social Media channels as well as sales campaigns and promotions for retail, wholesale and corporate. Also:

  • Being responsible for the management and output of all external PR, managing external agencies and blog relationships
  • Blog management (updating site content via CMS) alongside external PR
  • Building piggy backed and joint marketing campaigns with other relevant brands
  • Designing and implementing engaging and successful in-store promotions alongside Retail Operations Manager
  • Researching existing and new markets through desk research, telephone interviews and comparison visits, and create Marketing Plans
  • Planning in-store promotions and produce/source in-store marketing display materials
  • Analysing results of all marketing activity
  • Primary responsibility for brochures, POS and all other wholesale marketing materials
  • Compiling and maintaining email lists, and designing and implementing email marketing campaigns
  • Creating marketing and PR support for the various trade shows through the year
  • Reporting regularly to all stakeholders

What we're looking for:

You've probably got two years Digital Marketing experience but could have less if you've got bags of initiative, ideas, pro-activity and creativity, as well as the requisite skills, which are:

  • Social media marketing skills; SEO and experience of PPC
  • Good Photoshop or InDesign ability
  • Experience using CMS systems and uploading content to sites; HTML an advantage
  • Designing and managing email marketing campaigns; WordPress knowledge
  • Use of Analytics packages to measure success and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with copy-writing skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent industry qualifications
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to present data and findings in a variety of formats according to the audience
