This is an opening for a savvy digital marketer to take over the online offering for an established and successful niche manufacturer which combines decades of experience with cutting edge technology. They’ve been in business for many decades & during the past 12 months they’ve continued to outpace their competition & have remained rock solid, retaining all staff & are now on an upward curve & ploughing a lot of investment into their digital presence.
Based on the outskirts of Brum, this company has been established for close to 100 years and are a leading manufacturer and supplier of niche products to the construction and interiors industry. They pride themselves on their commitment to high quality affordable products and are committed to using sustainable materials and all products are manufactured inhouse at their state-of-the-art facilities.
You will report directly to the MD and be responsible for the planning and delivery of the company’s online marketing strategy. This will include developing a brand-new website and assuring the user experience of the website across desktop, laptop and mobile devices will continue to cement their market leading position.
You will also be writing and publishing regular content to the company website and social media channels, planning and executing regular email newsletters, managing paid search across a variety of online platforms and working with an SEO company to drive awareness & customer acquisition.
What we’re looking for
A digital savvy marketer who wants to take the reins of an established business online offering and direct all channels, in particular organic & paid search, CRM / email & relevant social media channels. Their audience is both predominantly B2B with a hint of B2C so exposure to both sectors would be quite handy and candidates that are operating in a manufacturing or construction related industry will be of interest.
Years of experience is not as vital as your proven record of driving awareness & sales on a digital platform as well as your know-how of continually improving the online customer journey across web and mobile.
It is also handy if you enjoy curating content from blogs & company values to new product descriptions that create value & interest. A main criteria is that you will be comfortable & confident in making your own decisions when it comes to the digital direction of the firm and there is every chance you will begin to grow a small team as this area of the business grows & prospers.
