Digital Marketing Manager

Excellent opportunity for a Digital MarketingManager to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Birmingham. The role will include leading and delegating digital advertising opportunities as well as to plan, implement and deliver PPC and Affiliates activity. The Digital MarketingManager will manage the PPC and Affiliates digital marketing budget and have responsibility for refining and developing our digital acquisition marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in direct management of digital marketing campaigns and be able to generate innovative solutions to both new and long standing business challenges. The DigitalMarketing Manager will work closely with other National Express Campaign Managers to ensure alignment, integration and development of our programmatic display advertising campaigns and Paid Social activity. We are looking for a logical and thorough problem solver who has an integrated approach to marketing to join our team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Primary point of contact for liaison between Marketing and E-commerce teams
  • Ensure integration of digital activity and seamless customer experience from digital advertising through to our website
  • Channel lead and digital expert for PPC
  • Management of affiliate network and developing relationships with key affiliates
  • Work with Marketing Analysts and Media Agencies to continually optimise our digital marketing spend and ROI
  • Identify new opportunities to drive incremental growth whilst maintaining ROI expectations
  • Support wider Marketing team to ensure digital acquisition media supports marketing goals
  • Lead weekly and monthly results and reporting for PPC and Affiliates advertising and ensure all stakeholders are informed of performance and issues
  • Adopt Tableau digital reporting and make recommendations for future digital reporting improvements and integration
  • Manage the implementation of best practice across all channels
  • Inspire both managers and team members by communicating the potential of digital marketing in a clear and accessible manner
  • Monitor wider industry and identify and exploit emerging trends and new developments
  • Provide thought leadership on all aspects of digital acquisition marketing

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Experience in managing large and complex budgets
  • Expert understanding all aspects of digital marketing
  • Google Adwords and Analytics competent
  • Engaging communication style and an ability to present complex information in a simple and accessible way
  • Commercially astute and financially very strong
