Digital Marketing Manager - Saas Expert

Job Summary

The recruitment department of the French Chamber of Great Britain is acting as an agency for its 600 member companies, one of which is currently recruiting a Digital Marketing Manager.

The company is specialized in developing software and mobile apps.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing the digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

The position is based in Central London.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email,social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain the social media presence and strategy
  • Manage and maintain products websites
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content
  • Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
  • Arrange webinars and webcasts
  • Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management
  • Write copy for email marketing campaigns
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
  • Work on printed material to supplement online products
  • Work on product launches and attend networking event

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of between one and three years in digital communications and marketing is expected. Experience or a qualification in graphic design can be helpful
  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture,WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of Segment, Kissmetrics, Mixpanel or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • Working knowledge of growth hacking techniques
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Editing and writing skills: You need to devise and edit content for various digital platforms. Writing blog posts may well be an integral part of the job
  • Video editing skills: Website and social media content will not just be text but frequently visual as well
  • Advanced Word and Powerpoint skills
  • Project management skills: good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
