Digital Marketing Executive

JOB PURPOSE

To provide support to deliver Company training and conferences marketing plans with a clear focus on key project activity, including training catalogues. This role will be expected to operate on their own initiative to manage campaigns on time and to budget.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The role will focus on carrying out marketing activities required to promote various conferences and training products. There will be a strong emphasis on digital; however requirements also exist to carry out some offline activity.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

  • Very strong organisational skills, ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to manage own work without strict supervision, prioritise tasks and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Good attention to detail
  • Email marketing - planning, execution, analytics and measurement
  • Very strong copywriting skills for the web, emails and social media campaigns, as well as proof-reading skills
  • Management of creative brief process with agency and designers
  • Putting together and regularly updating marketing activity plans
  • Briefing and engaging sales teams
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Management of campaign budgets
  • Great communication skills - a real team player
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude - focus on solving problems
  • Developing demand for conferences/training through the full marketing mix
  • Good understanding of digital analytics and KPIs

Qualifications

  • Graduate
  • Previous marketing experience in conferences and/or training

  • Open, click through and conversion rates for email activity
  • Process deadlines met at all times
  • Proactive tracking of revenue achievement and stopping/starting activity to achieve results
