Digital Marketing Executive

A fast growing, events, publishing and online media company are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and capable Digital Marketing Executive to curate and upload their website content, manage their social media groups and feeds, produce weekly email newsletters, analyse their Google analytics, help their clients and audience deliver and find great information.

The role offers excellent benefits including gym membership, Interest free season ticket loan, free eye tests and childcare voucher scheme and a basic salary of £19-24k.

Key Responsibilities for Digital Marketing Executive

  • Daily management of website, including posting and maintaining all kinds of content (news, events, blogs, case studies etc)
  • Daily management alongside editorial teams of 2 brands (Wordpress)
  • Production of weekly email newsletters and maintenance of the campaigns behind them
  • Content editing for SEO and grabbing reader attention
  • Maintaining and building our strong social media engagement across multiple LinkedIn groups and on Twitter, Flickr, YouTube etc by posting content, moderating and encouraging replies, sending weekly LinkedIn announcements and actively encouraging activity and discussion
  • Live tweeting/blogging from events and overall responsibility for Twitter feeds
  • Producing Google analytics reports
  • Managing LinkedIn group membership and generating of internal LinkedIn group membership reports
  • Researching and processing list generation projects across digital channels
  • Assisting client services/events staff at networking and conference events
  • Client relationship management system data entry and maintenance
  • Ad trafficking/stats and reports using Doubleclick for Publishers ad management

Skills/requirements for Digital Marketing Executive


  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good intuition, initiative
  • Online/digital writing experience
  • Great editing skills and English language
  • Experience/training in website CMS use
  • Writing for SEO training/experience
  • Google analytics training and experience (either formally or on the job)
  • An understanding of the specific needs of B2B publishing
  • Image manipulation skills (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator or similar)


  • Multimedia production experience (podcast/vodcast/video)
  • Experience handling clients and their content


Salary : £19,000-£24,000 dependant on experience
