Digital Marketing Executive (Fashion Brand)

Due to company restructure and relocation to Luton, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Executive for an innovative and growing fashion brand. Based in there new head office in Luton, the position is to play a pivotal role in the development of the online eCommerce part of the business.

Reporting into the eCommerce and Marketing Manager your responsibilities will be to take responsibility on key areas of

Digital Marketing

  • Deliver the digital marketing strategy according to the Marketing Calendar
  • Analyse performance and customer behaviour across each digital channel - email, social media, website - and adjust channel activity to maximise performance
  • Create engaging copy for products, newsletters and marketing channels making best use of the keywords identified from online analysis
  • Produce and/or edit online imagery and banners to maximise online sales performance

Online Merchandising

  • Launch new products on all website(s) and marketplaces ensuring all are described accurately regarding image, copy, price, and categorisation
  • Maintain website catalogue structure adding, removing and amending products as required
  • Analyse online customer journey and adjust online content to maximise performance
  • Implement promotional activity to support the marketing calendar and maximise performance
  • Review and react to competitor activity and pricing
  • Ensure we create the lead copy for marketplaces (e.g. Amazon UK, Europe and US) by being the first to upload new products, managing catalogue and promotions

Online Reporting

  • Produce, analyse and present trading report and propose actions according to the report
  • Produce, analyse and present product performance report and merchandise products on the website(s) to maximise performance

Customer Service

  • Assist with delivery of excellent customer service and administrative tasks via phone, email and any other channels (website and marketplaces)
  • Develop customer Service standard responses
  • Monitor and react to customer feedback and reviews (Feefo and Google)
  • Process returns (web and marketplaces) and respond to delivery exceptions

Personal Skills:

  • An understanding of retail principles with particular interest in fashion brands, digital marketing, and e-commerce
  • Creative with a good eye for detail and what is commercially inspirational
  • Ability to work proactively on their own, but also be a great team player
  • Excellent command of the English language and grammar

Technical skills:

  • Computer literate with good abilities in MS Office applications (mainly Excel and Word)
  • Understanding of the various digital marketing channels and their relative strengths - email, social media, PPC, organic search
  • Competent in using image editing software - e.g. Photoshop
  • Experience in email marketing systems desirable - e.g. Mailchimp
  • Experience in website CMS desirable - e.g. Magento, Shopify, Demandware
