Digital Learning Coordinator - E-learning - £23k + Bonus

This is a great opportunity for someone to join one of the worlds laregest, leading organisations, where they have an excellent reputation and lots of opportunity for the right person. They are currently looking for someone to join their Digital Learning / e-learning department, to assist in the training and learning coordination of on-line / digital training. The main purpose of this role will be to; Coordinate and create online learning materials, Administer Moodle Virtual Learning Environment and to Provide support to the Digital Learning team.

SALARY ETC:

  • UP to £23k + 10% bonus
  • Start: ASAP
  • Location: London
  • Permanent, full-time (Monday to Friday)

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Moodle Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) administration and support
  • Coordinate content development schedules with partners and authors
  • Create online course materials for key programmes in a variety of formats, e.g. elearning, videos, screen recordings, webcasts
  • Provide guidance on best practice for setting up content on Moodle
  • Assist with onboarding of educational technologies to internal and external colleagues
  • Assist with administration of new learning platforms as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

  • Degree level education, or equivalent experience
  • An interest in enhancing students’ learning experiences, particularly using modern education technologies
  • Technical software competence and ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong command of written English, with the ability to proof read content
  • Well organised with good planning skills

Advantageous, but not essential:

  • Experience in creating and editing online course materials for Moodle
  • Awareness of the basics of instructional design theory and application to online programme creation
  • Experience with education technologies such as Moodle, Turnitin, Panopto, Articulate or similar
