We are looking for a Digital Graphic Designer with experience in a fast paced working environment, able to work under own initiative to generate highly engaging graphic material for use within the ecommerce portfolio of websites. Emphasis is on diversity and the ability to deliver work that is both technically sound and creative.
Key Aspects of the role:
Creating artwork for cross channel platforms, designing to suit our web and mobile sites.You will be reacting to communication from our Marketing, Web Design, Web Content and SEO teamsConstruction of company emails including front of site communication on a daily basis with a varied workload including advertisements and e-shots.Updating the content of our portfolio of websites via (CMS).Working and interacting as part of a team, following instruction and reporting to the line manager dailyContribute to the building of our websites visually with engaging aesthetics
Essential Skills/Experience :
Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a creative field.Proficient understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, focusing on Illustrator and Photoshop.Be able to produce design concepts for numerous digital mediums including email, mobile, tablet and desktop that are both engaging and user focused.Ability to take ownership of the creative aspect of projects and deliver on briefs.Sound Microsoft Office Skills with good knowledge of excel and the reading of data.Solid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively and adapt to changes and the needs of the business on a daily basisBe able to respond to deadlines effectively, with good time management and capability to prioritise workloads.Effectively adhere to set brand guidelines and produce material for a corporate environmentGood organisational skills, able to follow direction
Knowledge of Dreamweaver and/or basic knowledge of HTMLExperience of an in-house team would be preferentialHold a design course/education where graphics for webHold a portfolio showcasing design and layout experience.
