We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Digital Designer to join a new creative team and help take an already established brand to a new level. Under the direction of the Brand Manager and working closely with a Web Developer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the visual identity of the Brand.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading online travel agencies, working with the marketing department in the role of Marketing Executive. Based in Thornaby-On-Tees, you will be working with several strategic brands under the TUI UK & Ireland umbrella.

What you will be doing

The Digital Designer will be responsible for the creation of all branded material, working within existing brand guidelines and helping to evolve these over time. You will be creating designs that will work across multiple channels and devices e.g. email, social, deals and banners, etc., ensuring that the user experience is consistent and to an extremely high standard. 

Working closely with the Brand Manager and Web Developer, you will provide support and creative direction for branding and marketing campaigns. Using your creative and technical abilities, you will be able to rapidly create prototypes to demonstrate the potential of ideas and subsequently, be able to take a design from concept to production across a variety of media. 

You will gather feedback from key stakeholders and customers on a regular basis to ensure that all design output meets or beats their expectations and is consistently delivered to the highest possible standard. 

You will be passionate about digital design and be expected to keep your design and technology skills up to date. You will be supportive of the rest of the team and willing to adapt your workflow and tasks in order to deliver to the highest possible standards and meet deadlines. 

This is a fast paced environment and you be expected to think on your feet and quickly adapt to any business or project changes.

What we are looking for

Proven experience of working with, evolving and implementing brand guidelines with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience, plus strong portfolio

Technically adept in  HTML
                               Typesetting & design layout
                               Adobe CC Creative
                               UX & UI Principals
                               Image editing/manipulation

• Excellent understanding of digital design platforms and resolutions
• Proven ability to identify and adapt output for a given audience
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and deliver to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• A collaborative team player who thrives on the energy of working in a team environment
• Self-motivated - can work on own initiative, proactive
