The Digital Creative Lead sits in the in-house creative agency, a specialist unit of experienced and passionate designers, copywriters and content producers that are embedded with the wider Marketing Communications team. It's a fast paced and respected team that have successfully taken creative activities back in-house over the last two years, and we're now seeking to do the same with digital.
This is a very broad position that will allow the post holder to shape the role as their own. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll receive briefs from across all of our very different business units, requesting your expertise and interpretation across the full digital spectrum. This could range from display banners, to infographics, email templates, web page builds, GIFs for social, image sourcing and basic video animation. You will have considerable resources at your disposal, and we encourage a relaxed yet focused working environment. While you will work across the whole company, your loyalty and priorities will lie with the Marketing Communications team.
If you have worked with big brands, and are an experienced and passionate digital designer with a genuine eye for design and tech, we’re very keen to hear from you. This will be a very rewarding position; we want someone to propel our digital capability alongside their own career progression. The experienced team has operated in a mix of in-house and agency, and are all passionate about creativity and delivering results. You will get exposure to huge national campaigns, but also have ample opportunity to pursue your own projects within the business. We want someone that has the drive and ability to carve out a niche for themselves within EDF Energy; this is a key hire for us.
We are offering a competitive salary (£40,000 to £45,000), an annual bonus scheme, a defined benefit pension plan, a generous holiday allowance and flexible benefits.
