Digital Content Manager - Digital Specialist - Job Summary

This is a key role managing the production and dissemination of digital content to a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders across multiple digital channels to maximise my clients reputation and brand profile, support SEO and omni-channel campaigns.

Digital Content Manager - Digital Specialist - Role Responsibility

  • Manage the SEO strategy for my client, working closely with internal digital development teams and external SEO and content agencies
  • Take ownership for the maintenance and development of web and mobile content, liaising closely with product and marketing teams and other key stakeholders to refresh and keep content up to date
  • Own and manage the organic social media strategy for my client, from headline strategy to managing the deployment of a significant social media content calendar
  • Manage and optimise the use of our social media management platform, Hootsuite
  • Manage and develop our approach to social media monitoring, identifying market and competitor trends and responding to any issues raised through social media channels
  • Work with external PR/content agencies and key media stakeholders for the circulation of content
  • Manage the wider roll-out of TrustPilot across our different technology solutions
  • Produce and disseminate content for our internal social media advocate network and drive our evolving social selling strategy
  • Work collaboratively on projects such as beneficiary engagement, merchant promotions, and others as required

Digital Content Manager - Digital Specialist - The Ideal Candidate

  • Proficient writer capable of engaging B2B & B2C audiences - reflecting the essence of our brand through clever and creative storytelling and tone of voice
  • Experience of SEO focused writing and knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experienced with content management across web and social channels
  • Experience with website CMS/WCM platforms
  • HTML experience
  • Excellent ability to interpret trends and performance; sharing with and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Clear communication and presentation skills and an ability to work with all functions and across all levels in an organisation
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with a social media scheduling and monitoring tool - Hootsuite would be an advantage
  • Desirable but not essential:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with EpiServer CMS / WordPress
  • Experience with SEMRush or other SEM tools
  • Someone with a passion and belief in the power of 'content’, not for 'content’s sake’, but for the ability to use it to position and build a brand and drive wider commercial benefit
  • Highly motivated to achieve results and see both performance and capabilities continue to grow and develop
  • A self-starter who is comfortable with working in a fast-paced, 'let’s do it’ environment - someone who takes pride in their work and shows ownership in their activity
  • A great team-player and enjoy working with others to achieve exceptional team results
