Digital Communications Officer



Within this role you will plan, create and maintain digital content calendars across website and social media, ensuring content is regularly refreshed, optimised, accurate and relevant and meets brand guidelines, whilst utilising SEO and web analytics to support the evaluation, development and promotion of the websites and intranet. This will include the management of PPC accounts across Google Adwords, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, to generate traffic to the website, follower growth, and engagement with social content.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:

  • Significant experience in writing and editing content for the web , understanding the user experience/journey, SEO and goal conversion
  • Experience in using web content management systems, particularly Umbraco, Kentico and Wordpress (Essential)
  • Experience in running social media platforms Facebook and Twitter (Essential)
  • Experience using scheduling systems like Sprout Social/ Hootsuite (or similar) (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of using web analytics (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal (Essential)
  • The ability to make, edit and post short video clips and images (Essential)
  • Intermediate experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (Essential)
  • Ability to use a range of tools to inform and guide the digital strategy including e-newsletters, PPC, Google Ad-words, SEO, Google Tag Manager (Essential)
