Digital Communications Manager

The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for the content of the website and the publishing of all corporate and policy information. The core purpose is to ensure the site is up to date and ensure large volumes of content can be published efficiently.

Client Details

The client is a public sector and government organisation based in Central London.


The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for:

  • Digital content governance
  • A website publishing service that manages the release of thousands of documents and data sets each year
  • Accuracy and relevance of content in the structural pages, and the appropriate classification and tagging
  • A training and support service for around 80 content providers
  • Delivery of all change projects
  • Line management of two Officers


The successful Digital Communications Manager will have:

  • Demonstrable and advanced expertise in website governance with a focus on curation and publishing
  • Expertise in managing publishing processes on CMS based platforms
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Ability to evaluate work against KPIs
  • Advanced understanding of writing for the web

Job Offer

The successful candidate will take responsibility for an important government website, and earn up to 40k pro rata
