Leading the way in the provision of static control and hazardous area safety my client offers a wide range of both patented products and safety solutions. Operating globally, from its offices in Nottingham, a recent international buyout has seen significant growth in both demand and therefore human resources, across its network in the UK, Germany and Singapore.

This continued growth now sees the business looking to join its’ Marketing Function, with the addition of an experienced, dynamic and passionate Digital Marketer. And whilst the team stands at just 3 right now, please don't be fooled by size! Its function, capability and remit is vast - marketing communications, lead generation, campaign management and other initiatives to strengthen the brand - there's also potential international responsbility to follow!

So, based in Nottingham, a key member of the Marketing Team, you'll work closely with Sales, bringing to life the company marketing strategy, managing the global digital footprint, and implementing and executing lead nurturing campaigns through Salesforce.

Responsible for all things digital, specifically Pardot, 2. SEO and Analytics ((Implementing, tracking and reporting (across 6 websites) )) and the Marcomms digital footprint. 

And, whilst there’s no such thing as a ‘typical day’ ,you’ll find yourself managing:

- Data segmenting/collection
- List segmentation
- Email campaigns
- Creation of landing pages
- Optimization, testing and deployment

You'll work closely Marketing Manager, to build, execute and automate email marketing campaigns and landing pages using Pardot. 

The marketing communications advertising plan will be yours, as to the circulation of marketing collateral via 3rd party publishers.

You'll develop, implement and maintain SEO best practices across 6 websites, segmenting and leveraging the Salesforce marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting and soft lead nurturing programmes.

Of course, an (electrical) engineering background would be ideal, but not essential. You’ll have an aptitude for all things technical and a willingness to learn all there is to know about the product range. Be prepared, it maybe difficult at first to get to grips with the mechanics of what the business does, but with comprehensive internal product training, and ongoing support, so long as you have grit and determination to succeed, and a genuine passion and enthusiasm for driving the business forward through creative and well co-ordinated marketing, you’ll thrive!

You’ll also need to have / be:

• Experience of digital marketing / SEO in a B2B / industrial technology environment
• Able to grasp the concept and promote company’s value proposition
• Knowledge of marketing automation tool Pardot
• Experience of Salesforce
• Experience of website CMS (WordPress)
• Up to date with the latest digital trends and algorithm updates
• Understanding of data and lead generation
• Competent in social media
