They’re now looking for a digital sales specialist who’s able to speak to existing clients and new ones about the range of solutions they offer. If you’re a digital media specialist with an interest in the world of property and you’re looking for a company that will give you support, training and the independence to grow your own career, then this could be the role for you.
You will use your skills to speak to estate agents, developers, lawyers, banks, financial advisers and other professionals from the wonderful world of international property. The digital media choices you have to offer them are proven winners though, of course, that’s not always obvious to them before they’ve worked with you. You must feel happy and confident approaching new clients though you’ll also need the skills and relationship management experience to help existing clients sustain - or, better, grow - their spending with you. In addition to your own research on new clients, you will also be speaking to people that have made inbound enquiries and you will be their first point of contact.
Most of your time will be spent talking to people over the phone though you’ll also have the chance to meet people at your company’s events across the UK. As part of a small and growing team, you’ll need to be well-organised with your data capture and follow-up activity as you’ll be running your own desk. You’ll play an active part in working with the marketing team to ensure that messages are consistent with clients’ expectations; internal communication with other departments, such as finance and operations, also needs to be a skill you possess.

Knowledge: Degree level education; experience of digital media sales, particularly selling over the phone.

Skills: Consultative sales skills; ability to generate new business over the phone; excellent research; strong negotiation skills; IT literate; good written English.
Habits: Well-organised, proactive calling of new business and existing clients (don’t hide behind email only!); confidence to work on own initiative.
