Job Title: Digital Account Manager

Reporting to: Digital Account Director

Brief overview of your role as the Digital Account Manager:

To work with the Business Development Manager to generate leads and enhance the client portfolio through winning new accounts. The Digital Account Manager will also be the key interface between the new clients and the company to ascertain the clients’ needs and ensure their projects are delivered within set timescales and to budget, working closely with the more junior members of the team to deliver the projects. To build strong relationships with the clients and proactively work with them to create as many business opportunities as possible through up-selling and identifying opportunities to further the premier experience you provide.

Responsibilities of the Digital Account Manager:

  • Work with the Business Development Manager to deliver proposals to the leads generated and attend new business meetings with potential clients.

  • Work in conjunction with the other Client Services team members, liaise with assigned clients to create a project brief and understand their requirements.

  • To create a close working relationship with potential clients including attending client meetings and new business pitches.

  • Liaise closely with internal teams to produce the projects for clients and new business proposals.

  • Work to set timescales and budgets to meet the targets set by clients.

  • Proactively pursue additional work from all clients through innovative ideas, presentations etc.

  • Responding proactively to all client requirement and maintaining a professional level of contact.

  • Manage the junior team members effectively to ensure they are achieving their target and meeting deadlines.

Personal Specification of the Digital Account Manager:

  • No specific qualifications required although a degree in a relevant marketing field would be desirable.

  • Account management experience at a senior level preferably within an agency environment.

  • A high level of experience in creating and delivering new business opportunities.

  • Experience of handling a variety of accounts and dealing with several different stakeholders at any one time.
