Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining, expanding and improving existing testing and deployment of web applications and services.
Managing and monitoring backups for our server cluster.
Actively monitoring server cluster infrastructure.
Proactively communicating technical problems and needs.
Ensuring the highest possible availability of live systems under your remit, including willingness to work out of hours in urgent circumstances.
Adhering to company software standards.
Domain name management including DNS records.
Excellent linux server administration (Ubuntu familiarity desirable).
Strong ability in scripting (Bash/Perl/PHP).
Good understanding of network protocols (including SSL), firewalls and routing.
Experience with deploying Wordpress, including hardening of Wordpress sites.
Experience with GIT version control .
Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure (AWS SES and AWS S3 desirable).
