Location: Nottingham City Centre
Required experience:Windows and/or Linux Server knowledge, Programming / Scripting (C#, C++, or Java etc) experience, Agile, Build / Release / Testing and interest in DevOps / Infrastructure Development, VoIP Knowledge, SIP/IP experience.
Salary: £30-£35k basic, 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare, bonus etc.

Working with one such cutting edge company based in Nottingham (with awesome offices!) we are looking for a talented and technically curious DevOps voice engineer to join them in a brand-new role.
You will work as part of a small, crack team of DevOps Engineers, supporting the development and delivery of the company’s software solutions.It’s a role where you’ll be given a lot of support and encouragement to develop your skills by the team and manager.
You will be involved in the build, test, release and deployment of the company’s software products.You’ll work closely with the development teams to ensure the continuous improvement and performance of the company’s solutions; it’s a highly collaborative environment where everyone pulls together and shares knowledge/best practice. The company are big fans of Agile, Continuous Delivery and the general DevOps movement, and importantly they are willing to invest in you to make sure your technical knowledge and skills match your passion for technology!
To be considered you must have commercial experience in a very technical role, and a genuine interest and understanding of DevOps principles as well as a good amount of knowledge when it comes to VoIP and SPI.Application from Programmers / Developers, Test Engineers, Support Analysts or Infrastructure Engineers are welcome if you have very strong all-round IT skills, including the following:
1)Programming / Scripting (in C#, Java, C++, Python, PHP, Perl, Powershell or BASH / Korn etc.).
2)Experience with troubleshooting SIP and IP voice gateway solution.
3)Excellent knowledge of the application of VoIP solutions.
4)Windows Server (2008 / 2012 r2 etc.)
5)Linux operating systems and related tools (RabbitMQ, Riak, Redis etc.)
6)Network monitoring (e.g. Nagios)
7)Configuration management (Puppet, Chef etc.)
8)Build and Deployment (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy)
9)Virtual Infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V etc.)
