Devops Software Engineer

Dorset / Remote due to Covid 19

My Dorset based client is an established leader within their sector, employing circa 100 people across multiple locations.

As an innovator within financial services the organisation is constantly enhancing their innovative bespoke, cutting edge platform - which enables the business to continue to implement and expand a broad range of products to their residential and commercial customers.

My client is actively seeking an experienced Devops Software Engineer to join their team and contribute towards the continual success of their robust market leading innovative platform.

My clients Devops team sits within an expanding technically focussed development team designing the infrastructure road map and architecture to enhance and future proof their platform and systems. The preferred candidate will be tasked with software / IaaS releases, implementing and adhering to relevant development methodologies and best practices and improvements throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

5+ years commercial experience
IaaS
AGILE
AWS, Docker, Kuberntes, Jenkins - Automation
Systems monitoring - datadog
Development background - PHP / Symfony / HTML/ CSS / Doctrine / REDUX / React / MySQL / Node / MongoDB
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
You will be able to identify problems and assist the teams to understand the intended fix
Experience working with a variety of OS and infrastructures
