DevOps Programmer with demonstrable programming skills across any of the OO languages (C#, C++, Java, Python, PHP etc) and a background of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure) is required by an innovative, ground-breaking software house looking to revolutionise the online retail industry. With our client recently securing new funding to enable them to realise their potential and offer them the platform to succeed with their expansion plans, this will be an exciting opportunity to strongly influence the company’s goal to reach out to new markets and expand their reach globally.
This award-winning company is now well established in their field and is working alongside some of the UK’s most recognisable companies and have in recent times expanded into Europe, Asia and South America. To continue this impressive growth and expansion, significant funding has now been secured to prepare the company for the next push in their evolution. This role will suit one of two backgrounds; An experienced DevOps Engineer looking to move further across into the development aspect of the DevOps space, that can display strong skills in scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell etc) and also has working knowledge of RESTful API’s, AWS and Azure. On the other side of things it would also suit an OO Developer (ideally C#) with 2-3 years of experience working in a DevOps environment and can display a knowledge and enthusiasm for moving further into the DevOps space and improve their knowledge in C#, Python, Ruby, PowerShell among many other languages linked to DevOps.
Any candidate being able to also display experience working with Configuration Management Systems (Puppet, Chef) and also containerised deployment administration with Docker and Kubernetes would be highly desirable and place any applicants to the top of the pile. Meanwhile, experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB would also make candidates particularly stand out.
