DevOps Engineer

Posted 12 March by Talent Point Ltd Easy Apply

Contract - Immediate start - DevOps Engineer - 6 months initially.

We need a DevOps Engineer to perform a range of tasks in an Ubuntu-based, virtualised infrastructure for a major London Ecommerce firm.

As DevOps Engineer, you'll initially support an existing team, hands on, in clearing a backlog of releases including creating environments, configuring servers and troubleshooting deployment.

Alongside this you'll give input into feasibility of introduction of Cloud, automation and DevOps principles. Working directly with an experienced, responded CTO you'll enable the move towards a modern, cloud-based infrastructure.

You'll be a confident senior DevOps Engineer who is comfortable working in more traditional, virtualised environments in the capacity of Lead Linux Engineer. As DevOps Engineer, you'll ideally have worked with Ubuntu although we are open to other flavours.

You'll understand DevOps tooling like Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes and have previously worked in an environment that transitioned to automation during your tenure.

You'll be comfortable advising a CTO or Head of Cloud on infrastructure issues and making contributions to strategy as needed.

Immediate start, based in the Chancery Lane area.

I have interview slots on Thursday and Friday this week for this DevOps Engineer role, so please send me a copy of your CV for immediate review.
