A multi-national and award winning FinTech organisation who specialise in the payments processing space are looking for a DevOps engineer to join their team.

Operating in an Agile deliver methodology, the team you’ll be joining collaborate heavily with the Product teams, business stakeholders & the overall IT Ops group. The primary responsibility for this role will be to utilise your experience of the DevOps practice & tooling to map out operational requirements for maintaining/implementing applications as well as optimising their CI/CD.

To be successful and make an impact in this role, candidates should have experience in the following:

  • Significant experience working with Infrastructure & Development teams
  • Strong containerisation, CI and Deployment tools experience (Chef, Puppet, Jenkins/Drone/Gitlab, Fabric 8, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven, Bamboo, etc)
  • Cloud Based Services such as AWS, Azure, Pivotal, and Google
  • Understand performance engineering from design principles
  • Proven, demonstrable experience with SDLC including code coverage, architecture and CI/CD
  • Performance tooling and testing experience (JMeter preferred)
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Demonstrable coding experience in one or more of Ruby, C#, VB.NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Groovy, VBScript etc.
