A Java Developer / Lead Developer is needed to join a highly successful global organisation specialises in providing scientific business solutions. The company are very well established, have a presence on 5 continents and are a pioneering force in their field.
The successful Principal Java Developer | Lead Java Developer | Java Lead will be involved in the development, leadership and management of a growing Development team and definitely enjoy being hands on within an agile environment.
As a focal point in a talented, driven and innovative team, you will work with cutting edge technologies, produce high quality code while enhancing existing features, implementing new functionalities and research emerging application development products.
You should be a Principal Java Developer | Lead Java Developer | Java Lead or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Web Application Development experience based on J2SE | J2EE | Java 8
- Experience with Web Services (e.g. RESTful API's)
- Confident using XML
- Application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.
- Able to work with IDE's such as Eclipse (or similar)
- Knowledge of Design Patterns including MVC, and typical OOP / OOD.
- Databases such as Oracle or SQL etc.
In return, the Principal Java Developer | Lead Java Developer | Java Lead can expect to work in a modern and open office, receive on the job training and be challenged on a daily basis.
The salary is competitive; up to £55,000 (depending on experience) and comes with benefits and definite progression opportunities.
The location is commutable by car or train from the counties of Middlesex, Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
