Development Exec / Account Executive
·25% will take over a bit of business to manage and 75% developing new business.
·Key part of the role will be helping to grow and develop the business.
·1.5days (ish) will be in the office.
·They have a Life Science and Technology focus that they are keen for someone to run with but will happily look at solid commercial experience.
·B2C role liaising direcly with clients with premiums to c£200,000.

Join experienced Insurance Account Executives as part of a supportive and motivated team in a dynamic office.
Responsibility for servicing accounts in an efficient manner; supporting peers to meet and accommodate client demands and to achieve renewal retention and growth rates. You'll need to be driven, passionate and business focussed and keen whilst keeping our clients at the heart of your actions.
·Control the renewal process along including the gathering of information from Clients and Prospects
·Maintain and grow income / book of business by following up and securing new business leads
·Actively obtain renewal terms in conjunction with your team for customers and identify potential alternative quotations to discuss with customers
·Full control of your diary ensuring appointments are made with customers at the relevant time
·Liaise intricately with Brokers to ensure terms negotiated with the market meet with your/Clients objectives.
·Form business relations with all client decision makers
·You may undertake pre-renewal and renewal visits with Clients
·Prepare meeting notes from minutes and ensure any points are actioned by yourself and/or your team within the Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines
·Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines
·Identification of new business opportunities for existing Clients and recommendation provided by them
·Track record of new business.
·Knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyd's and Industry) products, services, classes of insurance including underlying legal principles and practices relating to risk within own role capacity
·Demonstrable previous experience with evidence of effectively prioritising risks to handle concurrent workflow
·Strong knowledge of client market and insurance industry network
·Worked to deadlines and able to anticipate change; able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information
·Committing to travel/drive as part of your role visiting Clients, Prospects, Insurers & Suppliers will allow you to soar towards your goals
·Generating and driving new business whilst remaining dedicated in customer-care
