A Development Chemist is required to join an internationally renowned organisation that provides specialist chemicals to a range of industries including agrochemicals, construction and energy. You will be primarily responsible for the development and formulation of existing chemicals and to also implement new concepts to further expand their current range of successful products.

*Development of new and existing formulations in response to both customer briefs and on a proactive basis.
*Working closely alongside production, sales and marketing to ensure a smooth introduction of all new products being released to market.
*Keeping up to date with raw material launches and product formulations.
*Maintaining and continuously improving the quality system.
*Providing technical expertise to customers/clients and to keep abreast with all current regulations.

*It is essential that you possess a scientific degree - ideally in the field of Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Formulation Chemistry.
*You must possess industrial experience operating within an R&D focused environment where you have been carrying out direct formulation work on reactive products.
*Experience in Rheology and Suspension chemistry.
*Ideally you will have a strong background in cosmetics/ink or paint manufacturing/agrochemicals.

A competitive salary ranging from £25k-£35k is dependent on experience, with excellent company benefits.
