Job purpose - The QA Engineer will be responsible for selecting and managing the test frameworks that supports creating and maintaining automated acceptance tests. Responsible for managing the performance of the service and communicating potential risks to stakeholders . As well as selecting the right automation test tools that can support the software within your team and offer support to other teams when required. To ensure continuity, you will be expected to collaborate with the developers.
Responsibilities & Contributions
? Test all the software built within your team, and offer support to other teams when needed.
? Drive QA activities and set QA policies
? Engage directly with customers to keep them involved with functional design and test planning. Get issues resolved and moved on by providing your technical input when required.
? Define and execute functional, automation and performance test plans and strategies.
? Participate in implementing the Continuous Integration practice.
? Manage and prioritise own workload, communicate key issues.
? Document and report all the issues you come across in test reports. Ready to shape the future with digital solutions.
Knowledge & Experience
? Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
? Knowledge of QA automation tools like Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber or CodeConceptJS, Appium
? Certification of ISTQB, ISEB and/or TMAP would be great.
? Experience with the version control system GIT.
? Experience with performance/load testing would be an advantage.
? Working experience in an Agile environment.
? 3-5 years working experience in testing with web based applications.
