Desktop IT Support

Location: Ely

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Salary: Negotiable

We are looking for a pro-active Desktop IT Support to provide 1st and 2nd line support for a company based in Ely. If you have experience with desktop, laptops and printers then we want to hear from you!

Main duties:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line Desktop IT Support escalating complex issues to a wider team
  • Accurately document incoming IT Helpdesk requests and resolving where appropriate
  • Guide end users in the correct usage of processes and procedures as required and within your area of responsibility promote self-service IT opportunities
  • Setup and install hardware and software applications as required
  • Monitoring Backups

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience of taking helpdesk support calls and logging via service desk system
  • Windows 7 and 10 desktop support
  • Office 365 experience and support
  • Skype for Business client support
  • Basic network trouble shooting
  • Desktop software Upgrades
  • Dell Desktop/Laptop Hardware trouble shooting
  • Basic Windows server checks and Active Directory administration
