Design Technology teacher required in the new academic year, outstanding secondary school.
Are you a qualified Design Technology teacher looking for work in the new academic year? Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school to aid their recruitment for a vacancy in the new academic year. Due to a need within their staff team, they have a temporary position ideally starting in September which requires a Design Technology teacher (Resistant Materials specialism) on a full time basis, experience teaching Construction would also be beneficial for applicants.

- Pay to reflect your teaching experience/scale point - Earn up to £170 per day

The position is temporary initially and requires a Design Technology who is able to offer; Resistant Materials (to KS4) and ideally the Construction (BTEC course) for students taking this as an option. The department boasts excellent facilities and an extremely supportive subject leader, whether you are an experienced DT teacher or an NQT looking for your first position, this school will offer you an excellent platform to develop your teaching practice and weekly, ongoing training and CPD. In addition to the faculty leader, you'll have full support from the departments Technician who has been a longstanding member of staff and provides excellent support to teachers within the Design Technology team.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
